Application for state recognition of secondary level I With the fall of the barriers on January 1, 1993, the Rhein-Main School their European educational mission to the outside world: European School – now officially in the name.

1992

There is a German-American language project in elementary school furnished; Partner is an elementary school in the state of Massachusetts. An English Center is used in primary school to intensify bilingual education Education. There will also be an English after-school afternoon introduced. The Maastricht Treaties are signed. The Rhein-Main School is the first high school in Wiesbaden to design its curriculum in secondary school level I (grades 5-10) bilingual (German/English).

The name “Rhein-Main-Schule Dr. Obermayr" expanded to include the addition “European School”. In the second instance, Dr. Karl Obermayr applies the state aid retroactively the years 1974 -1979 were awarded by the Administrative Court in Kassel – economic existence is secured.
